Oak Harbor Knits ~ LYS Tour Stop One

photos courtesy of Oak Harbor Knit & Sew

so this is where it all began... kind of.  if we hadn't found this little oak harbor gem, we never would have embarked upon our greatest yarn journey yet!  and boy do we love yarn journeys.  Kathy informed us about the upcoming lys tour all over the puget sound and gave us our passports. [if you're confused, see this post]

watch out Sleeping Beauty, look at those gorgeous wheels!

i love yarn stores.  but more importantly, { i love yarn store owners }. Kathy took us in as if we had learned to knit sitting next to her [and Lily, the adorable shop dog].  we stopped by to shop.  we stopped by to knit.  we stopped by for wine.  we stopped by to knit again... but then we had to stop by to say good bye.

hopefully we will get to see her and her adorable little shop again; which by the way just recently moved and had a name change, but you can find it online at: Oak Harbor Knit and Sew.  They carry supplies for all different types of fiber arts, from spinning to tatting to knitting.
